Interview
I attended quite a number of interviews since last year.
These are the questions I really cant answer well:
1. Tell me your strength and weakness
==> I feel like cheating him/her if i dont tell the truth. If i told him/her the truth, i dont think i will get hired at all.
2. Tell me your 3 years plans
==> I know what i want, in short term, not long term. I dont have 3 year plans....
3. Tell me the most difficult situation you encountered and share with me how you handle/solve the problems?
==> I dont think i handle/solve problems in a standard way, usually i solve the problems using my own way. However, telling him/her my own way, may jeopardize the entire interview as he/she may not agree with the method i adopted. I really hate to answer something that require a standard answer!
4. Why do you want to leave your current job?
==> Somehow i appreciate those who NEVER ask me such question. If i were an employer, i wont ask such stupid questions at all.

Sinking Boat
I am sinking.
I wandered into the sea, and i took a boat.

Throughout the journey, I realise The boat is sinking.

No...it's not what i want.

英国摄政王时代（1795-1820）的女性服饰

我在熊熊姐姐部落格的留言中，说我想象熊熊姐姐身穿维多利亚时代的蓬蓬裙，被警察逮捕的幻想片断，让我突然想写一些关于服饰的东西。
我曾经很赞叹从前的西方女性，她们服饰上的变化是十分明显的。
法国大革命（1789）把那些玛丽安东尼似的花俏奢侈的法国贵妇服饰都革掉了。法国的平民百姓都不想再把自己打扮成一个贵妇模样，不然的话可能就像法国皇后那样被送上断头台。基本上英国的妇女们也都开始将自己从束缚中 解放出来，尽可能穿上一些较为宽松简单的服饰，可能是受到了启蒙运动的影响吧？
（右图为18世纪前中期贵妇的基本装扮，熊熊姐姐是否希望自己的头发也能梳成这种高度呢？）
法国恐怖时期（1793 - 1794)，无数贵族甚至平民百姓惨死断头台，贵妇服装大致上消失了。
在这个介于维多利亚女王登基和拿破仑席卷欧洲的年代（即英国摄政王时代），出现了一种类似现代孕妇装的Empire Silhouette。大家如果常常看电影的话，所有Jane Austin小说改编的电影的背景年代及服饰，都是这一款的。基本上腰围变得宽大，裙子束缚的部位从腰身移上至胸部以下；下裙则多重复杂。当时的人们开始放弃过于夸张华丽的装扮，开始向往古代希腊及罗马时代的那种民主之风，纯朴但不失风流。当时的女性也把头发弄得圈圈的，根本就像在模仿古代希腊美女的雕像。。不过，大家穿起来，都没了身材。。。可能现代女子如熊熊姐姐，玉如妹妹，JY姐姐和Jody姐姐，都不大钟意吧？

（左图为当时摄政王时代的男子服饰，觉得很不错，不会像之前的男性，都是戴假发，穿高跟鞋的那种。。。至少看起来有点乡绅的感觉。。）
